FAQ

Billing, access, and when this gateway actually makes sense.

Black Eagle AI is useful for a specific job: helping global developers test Chinese model families without juggling multiple provider accounts, payment methods and setup docs. If another path fits better, use it first.

Current workflow: create an account, test one small request, then use a manual PayPal top-up or a redemption code. After payment, share your account email or username plus the payment receipt or code so credits can be added to the correct account. If you want a more explicit trust checklist first, read the prepaid gateway trust checklist. Support email: lianzhiweivincent@gmail.com.
One account

Use one console and one prepaid balance instead of several separate provider signups.

OpenAI-compatible start

Change the API key and base URL first. Keep the same client while you validate model fit.

Small tests first

Top up a small amount before moving a real workload or asking for more model families.

Conservative claims

Text access is the production default. Additional text and media routes expand by request.

What happens after payment

1. Register first

Create a Black Eagle AI account so the balance can be attached to a real identity.

2. Make the payment

Use the PayPal link on the pricing or request page, or reply with an issued redemption code after you know which account should receive the balance.

3. Send account context

Share account email/username and the payment receipt or redemption code in the same thread or channel where you contacted Black Eagle AI, or email lianzhiweivincent@gmail.com.

4. Use a redemption code if you have one

If support already issued a code, reply with it to add credits faster. Otherwise continue with manual crediting.

5. Credits are added

Credits are added manually or by code redemption; we then issue a balance update for your account.

Which route should you choose

Direct provider

Best when you already have local verification, payment, docs and model-specific onboarding handled.

Global router

Best when broad model breadth, self-serve billing and advanced routing features matter more than Chinese model access friction.

Self-hosted gateway

Best when your team wants to own routing, keys, budgets, logs and uptime on your own infrastructure.

Black Eagle AI

Best when the blocker is global payment, Chinese-model access, English setup, or the cost of handling many provider accounts too early.

Common questions

Is every model instantly self-serve?

No. The safest default is OpenAI-compatible text access first. Qwen, Kimi, GLM, Kling, Seedance and other workflows may be available by request or manual onboarding depending on the route.

Why not just use a global router?

If a global router already solves your model access, billing and routing needs, that may be the better path. Black Eagle AI is for the narrower case where Chinese model families and payment friction are the real blockers.

Why not go direct to the Chinese provider?

Direct is best when you already have the local registration, payment method and provider documentation you need. The gateway exists for teams that do not want that setup cost on day one.

Why is billing manual right now?

The project is still in the early commercial stage. A manual top-up flow is simpler to launch safely than pretending a fully automated billing portal already exists.

How do I sanity-check the trust flow first?

Read the prepaid gateway trust checklist. It walks through the small checks to run before you top up more balance.

How should I test before topping up more?

Register, create a token, run one small deepseek-v4-flash request, confirm the base URL and model id behave correctly in your tool, then move to a larger prepaid package only after that works.

What is a redemption code?

When support needs a faster top-up path, they may issue a redemption code. You can send it to this inbox and we will apply credits immediately without waiting for manual reconciliation.

What if I need video models such as Kling or Seedance?

Treat video as a workflow request, not a generic chat model. Define input type, duration, aspect ratio, expected volume and whether you need polling or webhooks before asking for access.

Start with one real test.

Create an account, run one request, then choose whether Black Eagle AI is actually the right route for your workload.
